And of course, because we love yummy food as much as anyone, we’ll be sure to make some great snacks to share.

So join us, will you please?? We’re excited to host Weekend Cat Blogging again. Last time was so much FUN having friends over and we look forward to another weekend of furry hi-jinks and hair-flyin’ fun. Leave your link here, or email me kate4797 at hotmail dot com.

{{{{{{IMPORTANT NEWS FOR THE NASHVILLE AREA:- Kitikata-san’s human has been helping a poor lost black kitty (LBK) who was rescued after being found on a busy road. He is in very good health, thank God and is in need of a good home. Please see kitikata-san’s blog for further information. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this lovely fella finds his forever home.}}}}}}

Taboo has come early, ready for lots of fun. Look how excited she seems with those BIG eyes at Jelly Pizza!

Feliz (also called Blue Cat) has come over and shared his wonderful story of love and happiness now that he has a new human to love. For his story and photos, check out Gato Azul/Chat Bleu

Despite a dental visit, Lyra came over and has mesmerized the boys with her gorgeous green eyes.

Riley and Tiki are 9 months old!! Check out some cute baby pictures!!

Spot must have had a rough week, as he seems to check out with complete abandon at s’kat and the food

Fridolin seems to use sunshine as his personal transformation into royalty. His aristoCATic nature can be seen at Rosa’s Yummy Yums

Everyone at kitikata-san are wondering just WHO these chevron-striped beauties are?? Anyone have any ideas???

Upsie can’t resist a sunny day, and Sher from What Did You Eat? can’t resist a good outdoor brushing with it’s bounty for the birds. Sundance tries to play with the new houseguest, and Upsie has some expected upheavals after her meal of grass.

The stray kitty hanging around masak-masak is no camera shy feline. In fact, rumors of a lost supermodel have surfaced suddenly. Could she be hiding here?

Jason at Xengere tells the heartwarming tale of Kako’s arrival and her subsequently falling in love with an older man. I can’t wait to see more of those baby pictures.

Kashim and Othello had enough foresight to bring treats! Thanks kitties! I am sure everyone will appreciate the homemade fish treats and yogurt drinks, and for the picky felines, Whiskas!

Amar and Luna work out musical mysteries and art angst at CatSynth. Luna seems to be a very helpful kitty!

Puddy’s here everyone! A bit late, but apparently she found THE BEST hiding spot, and Katie was having trouble finding her!

Mao and Duchess have been spending a lot of time together at Kross-Eyed Kitty. You should see how much they “heart” each other. :-)

Visit sammawow for Winery Cat Wednesday! Looks like lots of fun was had by both humans AND cats!

Sunday visitors- February 25

Jenn at I Got Two Shoes has a sorrowful encounter with a badly injured cat, and does her best to help the poor thing before it gets scared off. Her dream is to be a Cat Goddess to the poor unfortunate ones. I would join her in a heartbeat.

Et c’est tres bon……Mina, Maya and Oliver, the cat family of Cuisine Guylaine, have come to help us learn their native French language. This should be fun!

And what luck, we have some helpers for learning French! Coca, le bebe de 5 mois, gets into some awkward positions and learns all about life from older, quieter and wiser Mysri. They live in French Guyana and don’t know about snow, so let’s show them and everyone else what happened here over the weekend!

It is still rather cloudy out, and more snow could fall, but at least a foot has landed since early yesterday afternoon. It was wildly blowing too, so the drifts are amazing. On the roof to the right (that’s our garage) are some fine examples. Those bushes under the eaves normally have about a foot of clearance below the bottom branches and the ground, and you can just barely pick out our stone bench on the left side of the photo, one corner standing out just barely from the drifts. While this is nothing like the 10 feet of snow that fell on Upstate New York last week, this is the most we have seen in a long time. We have a lot of work to do today to clear it all away!

Kate, this is Kitikata’s human. There is a situation that has cropped up, and I took over my cat’s blog temporarily. My cat is not happy that I have have a boy cat scent all over me, and because I took her blog! Anyway, I happened to find a black boy kitty who had been hit by a car at a very busy intersection. He is nearly all fixed up by the vet, and a foster mom has taken the cat for the week to deliver the rest of the antibiotics to the kitty. Please post Kitikata’s blog for WCB again but to help little black kitty. Thank you! http://Kitikata.blogspot.com
