Last weekend Bustopher and Harmon showed off some of their favorite cozy spots around the house. Then, it happened; they found another one, both of them, and as cats go they aren’t very happy about sharing this newfound awesome sleeping arrangement.
First Bustopher discovered it:

Then, when he made the fatal error of getting out, Harmon quickly got in:

See how Bustopher has on his ‘annoyed face’?
Not only did they fight over the spot most of the weekend, as the blanket pile was directly in a large sunshine patch, but it has gone on most of the past week. The blankets have been rearranged to try to make a nice spot for each one of them, but there is still some shackle-raising, fisticuffs and choice words over the best spots. These blankets came from our cabin when we shut it down for the winter, and are awaiting a trip to my sister-in-law’s house to be put through her heavy duty washer. I hate to think of the look I will get when I finally put them away until next spring.
Well, that is if they let me!
Head on over to The House of the (Mostly) Black Cats for the Thanksgiving weekend edition of Weekend Cat Blogging, where Pepi apparently had an unfortunate meeting with a candle that ended well, thanks to the Stop, Drop and Roll method.

We love their faces all covers in the blankies!
Have a nice Weekend,

Bustopher looks really annoyed with Harmon – I can see why this is a choice location for naps. Neither cat will be happy when their comfy spot disappears …
Happy weekend!
Bustopher gives a great annoyed face!
That looks like a totally great spot to sleep, you guys. Maybe you could make the human make tunnels in both ends so you wouldn’t have to like share and touch.
Fanks for joining us at Weekend Cat Blogging this week!

Adorable! We call our Austin (one of our dogs, not a cat) Bustopher … it’s a pet name (pun just slipped in there). Kate from Kate Smudges mentioned your blog so here I am. Looks yummy, interesting, and full of great things to spend more time on!!
